Since 2012 we have been commited with sailing development and leading other nautical sports in Western Colombia with the firm determination that has led us to be designated as the Venue for regattas of National Championships, National Sea and Beach Games and Centro Americans and the Caribbean .Games

Along the same lines, we have been designated as the Venue for the 2021 Youth Pan American Games. We also aspire to be the Nautical Sports Venue for the next 2023 National Sports Games.

Starting from our foundation as a Sports Club, we stimulate in our sports affiliates, in the students of our Albatros Sailing School and in all those around us, human values such as perseverance, individual effort, and the ability to put it at the service of working together. We also promote respect for nature, as well as the idea that together with these values, we can contribute positive experiences that will influence, through our example,  more families in our region.

The young monitors sailors who run practices at the Club, are experienced crewmembers, leaders in their own boats and experienced as athletes in different national and international championships and regattas. Under their direction, expert coaches are in charge of directing the training of new boaters and directing and accompanying the recreational excursions of the visitors to the Club on Calima Lake.

The Board of Trustees is the highest authority of the Club and is made up of sailors from different modalities of the sport; they are elected by the Members' Assembly. The Board delegates its authority into the Nautical Coordinator who is in charge of each of the fields of activity necessary for the development of the Club .
